Professionally experienced world class teacher, with 38 years of professional experience, bringing live, studio and all experience to the drumming table!
Play to music, students can choose the music they like to play along with or play to the music chosen by Teri. They’ll learn grooves and how to read them, in the first lesson. Learn to read and play starting your first lesson is a very inspiring experience! Learn various styles and have fun.

Finding out what they enjoy and are interested in musically, realizing where they are in their skill set, beginner, intermediate or advanced. What gear they do or don't have and whether they plan to invest in equipment or not (usually that's a yes). I like to find out a ball park of what they do or don't know about counting/reading and playing, basic experience then start a plan from there.
I'm a professional singing - drummer of 38 years, studio and live experience. Traveled all around the world touring with International acts as well as teaching over 28 years. With drum corps, orchestra, marching band, concert band, rock, funk, jazz, country, latin, dixie land jazz, new orleans style funk and much more experience in styles, I have a very well rounded education for teaching drums. I enjoy teaching people to get in touch with their own rhythm and enjoy being around kids.

I enjoy sharing information, love drums and love to see people happy when they realize their own capabilities in rhythm.
All types, everything from a 5 year old to a 63 year old blind man with a seeing eye dog.
Today my young student learn some very advanced information and it was a major turning point for him. He doesn't realize it yet, but I do!
Make sure you like them, you feel you can learn from them and you respect their own talents.
What is it I desire in drumming? Are there particular styles I want learn or am I open to the direction and guidence of my teacher to lead me in a good direction? How committed am I to practicing what they teach me?
