My private lesson teaching has been contiuous for over 20 years now. Integrated with the traditional styles is a foundation in music theory, the key to the kingdom for ear playing and composition.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Composition and a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. I have nearly 35 years of teaching experience. I enjoy instructing enthusiastic students using the many skills I have developed through the years. Seeing students improve is a real thrill for me. I help students by developing a keen awareness of their musical interests and showing them that the solutions are not reserved for a special few but that anyone with the determination, knowledge and desire can make real headway. I am a musician/ author/singer/songwriter/creative powerhouse. I emcee music festivals, do stage managing for festivals, perform at festivals I am currently taking students for guitar lessons. I have been playing guitar for 34 years, and I would love to teach you how to play. I am a retired RN, and education has always been a passion of mine. $35 hr if you come to me. $50 if I come to you. I am also available to be the Master of Ceremonies, or Host, for any event. I have hosted comedy shows, variety shows, concerts. References available upon request.

I'm Jean Felix Benoit I'm guitar player since 1978. I play several styles like: jazz, pop, reggae, roots music etc and I have a large experience playing live, with band, and I studied in: Escuela Superior de Música in Mexico and Ecole Nationale des Arts in Haiti.
