About

Welcome home to all you "old souls" with no idea how the audio editing programs work, and don't want to! The only 3 things you need to start are 2 wooden drum sticks, 1 small drum pad, and a small chip on your shoulder from mom or dad's constant nagging for you to "be quiet!". My name is Brandon Reeder, and since the year 2005 I have been providing 1:1 lessons for all skill levels desiring proficiency in modern drumming. I grew up in Baltimore MD and graduated with a B.A. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2013. My childhood friends came together in rock/ punk/ pop bands while we were in High School and until our untimely demise in 2019, I've personally performed thousands and thousands of shows, travellng to every US state in the Union (minus Hawaii/ Alaska), and performing alongside the likes of commercially successful (Major/ Indie recording labels); bands like All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Mayday Parade, A Day To Remember, Angels & Airwaves, Hit the Lights, Mae, Yellowcard, Adelphi, The TrackRecord, Socratic, and Finch to name just a few. The drumming skills you'll find in my bag of tricks apply to all aspects of drumming, whether that's practicing for festival season at school, or gearing up for your first local tour on the east coast. I can help a beginner discover which aspect of drums they wish to excel at! As far as my basic curriculum, I always break sessions into 4 parts; Part 1. Stick Control and Fundamentals. Part 2. Either snare drum exercises for school related activities or Alternative drum set exercises for other creative projects. Part 3. Song Writing & Music Business, and Part 4. The School or band audition to get the gig!
