Baltimore School For Drumming

Baltimore School for Drumming has been in business for 21 years. We are referred students by many area high school band directors, college percussion instructors as well as many professional drummers. We provide lessons for beginning to advanced students ages 6 through adult We teach students how to read with a emphasis on proper hand and foot techniques . We do many styles with drumset which includes contemporary styles such as rock, funk R&B etc. Jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Brazilian styles. We also teach rudimental and orchestral styles on snare . Mallet lessons are also available which includes 2 and 4 mallet techniques. Many of our students have been excepted and received scholarships from top music colleges including Peabody Conservatory of Music, Boston Conservatory, Oberlin school of music , and Berklee college of music to name a few. We also specialize in audition preparation for high school , college. or professional settings.
