What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I find out what interests them about the drums and music and create a regiment designed for that individual. I then demonstrate and playalong to begin the first lesson. 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been musician all of my life. I am a visiting artists of many schools with music programs. I have toured and recorded with industry legends and I currently conduct workshops and clinics worldwide for 25 years.

I develop lessons that help the student with ear training, memory, sight reading and technique.

I have been approached my many people over the years requesting lessons.

While learning, have fun and protect your passion for the instrument. 


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Why do I want to learn the instrument? What music should I listen to? Where do I go for inspiration? Where do I see myself 5 years from now?
