I have been playing tennis for about 7 years and began my love of coaching the sport in 2009 by volunteering at the New York Junior Tennis League while I was in high school and my year of college. Then in 2011 I began working with Montgomery Sports Association, a non-profit organization that sets up sports clinics throughout Montgomery County, MD and I have been working with them for 3 years now. While coaching here I decided to enhance my skills as a coach and got my PTR certifications in 10 & under tennis as well as 11-17 last year in 2013. I have also went on to working with other programs within the DMV area. I volunteered as a coach at Cardozo High School in Washington, DC in Spring 2014 and am now in talks with some other high schools in the area that are looking for coaches as well as coaching privately. I truly enjoy teaching and enjoy seeing the growth of my students on and off the court. Most if not all of my students quickly learn the basics of playing tennis after a few lessons and those who wish to continue to advance their play love my fun rigorous exercises. I really love coaching and playing this sport and hopefully we can get to share this together.
