Nick Ruggieri Percussion Instructions

Hello!

I am a professional drummer in the DC area who has been teaching and peforming for the past 35 years. I teach many styles as well as students of all ages and levels. I vary my teaching style to the individual student, providing them with the most direct route to getting them started on their instrument of choice, be it as a student, professional player or simply for personal growth and enjoyment.

I attended the Berklee School of Music and use similar teaching techniques, dealing with reading, proper technique in gaining mastery of the instrument to feel competent in pursuing ones goals. I am a warm and friendly person and enjoy developing close bonds with my students to excite them in their passion for creating music!
