David Boyd was born and raised in Newcastle, England where his mother instilled in him the love of tennis. At seventeen, David earned a scholarship to play Division One Tennis at Austin Peay State University. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education.
After a brief stint playing on the futures circuit, David began coaching tennis in New York City and the Hamptons before relocating to LA. As a highly sought-after coach in LA, David has taught players of all ages, from toddlers to adults, as well as group lessons and USTA teams. David is also a certified USPTA coach holding elite pro-level status.
David offers individual and group lessons and various tennis clinics. He's also a well sought after live-ball instructor.
