Dance Xplosion

 We offer classes to students ages 3–18.  Classes are available for beginners through advance.   Students with experience are assessed and evaluated by our professional staff and placed in classes that provide a  perfect amount of challenge. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is enjoyable and at their level. 

Each staff member comes to us with a dance or educational degree and/or years of experience creating a professional staff.   Our teachers hold various titles such as board members of the Cecchetti council of America, certified Cecchetti instructors, members of professional dance groups, and  certified  public educators. . 

 Rates begin at $10 a class. There are discounts for multiple classes and family rates. 

As a former third-grade, public school teacher, my passion has always been working with children.  Growing up, I dedicated much of my free time to dance   which grew to be a large part of my life.   Combining my two loves, dance and children, has provided me with my dream job! 

We accept and work with all types of students.  We have students who enjoy dancing as a recreational activity and come once a week. Other students take a more serious  competitive track where they attend multiple technique classes throughout the week,  compete at regional events, and attend out of state conventions. 

 Our studio is a strong supporter of DuPree Dance.  We recently attended their Chicago convention which is a family-friendly event.  It is an opportunity for our  teaching staff and  dancers to take class from other professionals around the country.
