I teach beginning through advance students. I have been teaching and coaching dance for over 35 years. I work with ages 2yrs through adults. Couples dancing for wedding or social events and children/teen for recreational and competitive dance.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
To find out what the end result/goal is for each student. Then achieve it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing for over 45 years. I have been teaching for 37 years. I have trained many dancers to teach and have given certifications to several whom have gone on to open and run a successful business.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private lessons are $50 per hour... group lessons are $12 per hour per person with a minimum of 4 students.
How did you get started teaching?
I started assisting at age 13 and started choreographing and teaching at dance conventions at age 16.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all different types of students starting at Age 2 years old through 75 year old, beginning through advanced dancers and also certified many instructors for teaching.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that there's a clear understanding between the student and instructor so that they know exactly what their specific goals are and find out what the process will be to get them there. Someone who's truthful about getting them to their goals and not just wanting to take their money.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What exactly it is they want to accomplish. What exactly is there timeline for accomplishing this.
