I teach a variety of formats:

Children's yoga - 3-12 --Zumbini ages 0-4

Adult Yoga, Zumba, Zumba Toning, Ballet Barre, and Drums Alive!

I am a certified group fitness instructor through ACE fitness Current CPR card-RYT 200 yoga (additional training in Kid's Yoga) Zin (Zumba network member) .  I currently teach at Studio 8 Fitness in Waterford, Trufit in White Lake, Bloomfield Hills Senior Center and substitute at Yoga Oasis, Clarkston on a regular basis. 

Long time dancer and experienced teacher. In additional to dance I was in education k-12 for many years!

Introduce and explain the type of workout that they will experience.

B.S.and M.A.T in education -Minor in P.E - concentration in dance

RYT 200 yoga (with additional training in Kid's yoga)

Zumbini certified

Group Fitness certified through ACE - current CPR card

Zumba (Zin member) Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, Strong by Zumba

Completed and teach Barre Intensity and Drums Alive (cardio  drumming)

It depends on the facility- 

How did you get started teaching?

Danced since I was a little girl - Taught dancing for many years. Left -to teach k-12 and was a school counselor, came back to the fitness/dance world.  

What types of students have you worked with?

I enjoy working with all ages from little ones to adults, including the senior population. 

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Completed three weeks of yoga camps for girls ages 4-12.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for someone who is enthusiastic, smiles and loves their work.  

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What experiences should I (or my child) expect to come away with as a result of being in your class?
