Paulette Brockington is a versatile dance artist who has professional experience in a number of concert and social dance styles. She is an award winning choreographer, a lauded teacher and champion dancer known for her musicality and inventiveness on the dance floor.
Besides moving myself I enjoy passing the joy of movement on to others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start from where the student is. During the furst lesson I expect to see Movement wise where the student is and what they movement goals are then go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Dance and Choreography from The University of Michigan. I am a former Arts Educator of the Year. I have been nominated for Dance Magazine's Dance Teacher of the Year. I am a certified Zumba instructor too and was actually trained by Beto the man who created Zumba technique.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on what the students goals are, whether i do to their location or they come to one of mine or what to try lessons online.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when someone I was helping learn something suggested that I did it so well I should consider added it t my resume.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with trained dancers, new dancers, handicapped dancers, wedding couples, theater productions, musical theater dacners and non-dancers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I Like teaching at festivals, camps and conventions. That experience allows you reach hundreds of students at the same time and see an immediate result.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Decide was goals you want toset fr yourself.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much time thwy are wiling to devote? How much money are they willing to spend.
