My business can stand out because of numerous reasons .
First , I love passing on the knowledge of making Music that was passed on to me over the years . And that started back in germany through my Parents , both Musicians .Then further through other musicians that mentored me .
My first drum students i started teaching was when i was about 18 , after playing in fathers band since 11 years young and other local bands around Mainz near Frankfurt .
Second , i keep improving myself on the Instrument , CONSTANTLY , and that is huge to understand and to bring this across to to the students . As a mentor i am the Student myself but have the gift to break it down for the beginner , intermediate or advanced to make improvements as long as you work on your craft .
Third , i enjoy teaching and playing Music . And as far back as i can rememeber I made sure a Lesson had a FunFactor build in and that at the end of each Lesson we accomplished something and experienced some level of Joy with the Music .
Fourth , is Integrity . When i see that a student is not happy or in some shape or form seems to be better off switching instruments then i will kindly suggest she /he could change the instrument or pursue tennis or Soccer ( btw, i could that too:-) And last but not least , my compensation for my knowledge and time investment is fair . Its not cheap but its also not a $100 per half an hour or something like that .

yes i am on Facebook but i do not advertise there . All of my students found out about me through reccomendations or when someone saw me performing at music venues . I am though in the midst of creating a website for myself that sheds light on my original compositions in a wide vriety of genres from Latin Jazz - R&B - Funk - Rock and Pop Music . What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually ask the new student what he/she struggles with . And show by either demonstrating how the student can start working on the subject . Lot of times students rush everything . So , one way is to slow things down . It always helps to actually digest the exercise .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
like i mentioned before , my father was mainly responsible that i can be placed in a musical situation and play the instrument . And over the last 30 years or so there are plenty of Educational videos available that i investigated . Also a few lessons with some very good drummers over the years . Like i said ' we will be always a student of the instrument !'
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
it depends on the situation . do i have to get in the car to teach or will i just be at our house and dont have to get in traffic etc.
If a student can come to my Studio in our house it will be $35 for 40 minutes .
First drum lesson should be a full hour . just for the simple reason to orientate what needs to be worked on first .
And for a full hour it would be $55
