In addition to having completed the Doctor of Musical Arts degree, Dr. Thomsen is member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Michigan Music Teachers Association (MMTA), the Livonia Area Piano Teachers Forum (LAPTF), and the National Federation of Music Clubs.
