It’s not a strict cookie cutter approach. I aim to show you the basics, so then i can teach you to teach yourself and develop new skills in the particular discipline you have chosen.
I enjoy teaching. Mostly because you can't make someone learn something. I aim to ignite that creativity and drive inate in you, so that you can eventually take the reigns. It's facinating for me to see each individuals learning process. But moreso i enjoy the joy it brings someone to relize that they can do that thing they've always wanted to do, they just need a little help getting started and there is no shame in that.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I’ll spend some time getting to know you. Just so we can each understand where the other is coming from. Also to make sure our personalities can mesh during the learning process. Then once the ice is broken i’ll start teaching you the basics and techniques i know. I’ll work with you to develop some basic skills and i’ll explain to you where you can go from there. It’s my understanding that most people know how to teach themselves and develop skills, but so often they just don’t know how to start. I aim to facilitate the process for you so it is easier and you feel much more motivated about doing the activity.
