About
My service is available to all people and to those that often do not have access to tennis lessons with a professional. It is a way to learn and get exercise while practicing on the court. I play a lot of games and really try to make the most of each minute on the court. Short breaks for water and back at it. Maximizing the investment and taking our time to get things right.
I really like learning about the desires that my students have for tennis. Let's face it, they have literally found me online and drove to the courts to play tennis with a professional instructor. That means they are motivated. I like working with those people. From children to adults I have met the best and we continue to set up for next summer lessons once winter is behind us.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We review your goals and begin hitting the tennis ball. I want all my students to hit as many tennis balls as we can in each lesson. Teaching all the different strokes to enhancing talent. I like getting players/students comfortable with their swing and holding their racquet properly. I teach various techniques that really help in game play. We make it fun and it is good exercise too.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played tournament ladies tennis for 20 years. I have coached middle school and high school tennis teams. I also have worked with children 4 and up. I love what I do and try to infuse a tennis passion in others. I have a lot of drills and games to play while learning. It's really fun too!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I like individual lessons but I can offer discounts to a group. Many kids like to play and learn with a friend or two and why not? I am delighted to share the lesson to make it more affordable to more players.
How did you get started teaching?
My mother was a tennis player and so was her twin sister. They were a nice doubles team in high school over 70 years ago so I was exposed to the game very young but liked swimming better. I really improved when I moved from Michigan to California. Tennis was an immediate friend maker as I was asked to be on a USTA Team. I have friends all over the country from my tennis experience. Tennis a sport that lasts a lifetime and the gift that I give that keeps on giving to those that embrace the thrill of playing the game.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages. I start with 4 year olds because they are eager to learn. I have taught hundreds of kids over the past 20 years. My sons played on their middle school and high school teams so I became part of the coaching team. I have also coached women and men in my Men's night clinic and Ladies night clinic which is a group of 4 learning doubles strategy and play.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love the US Open Tennis Tournament. It is a USTA event and I attend as often as I can. I have seen Nadal and Federer win. I also like the Delray Beach Tennis Tournament in Florida.
