For context, I've been playing bass guitar for over 20 years. I have taken lessons for bass in the past, and nobody compares to Viviana. Viviana has a keen ear for detail and she has a real ability to help you actually hear and feel the music rather than just play it by rote. With previous instructors they would simply move from one lesson to the next, I didn't gain any real insight into the actual music being played. Viviana is different, we have spent a couple weeks on a single simple piece because she has me actually feel the music, it's not just a matter of playing the correct notes, it's a matter of learning the true art behind the music being played. I gain so much with every single lesson. Multiple times I have looked at a piece in a very simple book we are working through and have thought "okay, this is too easy", only to have greatly underestimated how much I would learn from said piece with Viviana by my side. She has really shaped the way I view and hear music. I wish I had someone like her when I was learning bass! It would have expedited my learning and I would be far more advanced. I look forward to every lesson with her. She keeps you progressing no matter what your practice schedule is. I have had situations where I didn't practice all week and felt like I was taking two steps backwards, but then when I take my lesson with Viviana it's like rocket fuel for progression and despite having not practiced like I should have I still move forward. She truly does make me enjoy playing music in a very stress-free way. She is critical but not judgemental or disparaging. There's no fluff with Viviana, she makes every single minute count. Whether you take 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons you can rest assured that you will get the most out of every single minute. Since I have a musical background I originally thought I would learn piano on my own and only take a few lessons to correct any early issues. I never thought I would continue lessons long-term but my attitude has completely changed. I want to work with Viviana for as long as possible, had I tried going completely solo I certainly would be nowhere close to where I am now. Many thanks to Viviana and I very much look forward to working together for the forseeable future!

I started taking piano lessons about a year ago. I have always loved the idea so I decided to do it, finally, in my late 40s. It has been amazing! My teacher--Viviana--is excellent and has made the experience extremely enjoyable! Viviana is an excellent instructor. She makes the piano easy to understand and gives practice exercises that are challenging but not overwhelming. I enjoy my practice at home plus my live lessons! Viviana is patient and very enthusiastic! She provides productive feedback but alot of encouragement as well! It's been a fun year of learning! If you have been considering taking lessons, I highly recommend Viviana!

Viviana is an amazing voice teacher! She is kind, attentive, talented, and extremely knowledgeable about her craft. In just a few weeks of 30 minute lessons I have already learned more from her than any other voice teacher I've ever had. I have taken musical theater and classical/opera lessons with her. My voice has grown so much! With the transition to online lessons, I really look forward to my voice lesson every week to break up the quarantine monotony. If you are looking to become a better singer Viviana is 100% the right choice.

I hold a Bachelor of Music in Film Music Scoring with Highest Honors, a Master of Arts in Music (GPA 4.0), and 25 years of professional experience in America and in Europe.

One student kindly left a review for me and when she assigned me 5 stars out of 5, she said she would have given me 200 starts, if she could have! Sweet!

Make sure your teacher customize your education by accurately tailoring it to your needs. That's the best value for your money.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
