My name is Reid Kennedy, and I am a freelance drummer and percussionist in the Twin Cities. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota, and I have enjoyed a career as a composer, producer, and educator for fifteen years. I currently teach at a percussion studio at Apple Valley High School and online via Zoom.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When meeting new students, I enjoy a conversation surrounding their interests and goals. I prefer to guide my instruction toward a student's individual aspirations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Music Education from the University of Minnesota School of Music. I have been a private instructor for 15 years.

Lessons are $30 for a half hour and $60 for an hour.
