Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start off by discussing the student's level of experience and goals...what the student wants. From there I put together a specific plan for each lesson. Each lesson builds on the previous lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started drumming at the age of 12. First Junior High Band, then High School Band, Drum & Bugle Corps, High School Marching Band, High School Jazz Band, and neighborhood bands playing gigs.
After that I went to college and participated in Symphony Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and drumming three nights a week for a local band performing Rock and Country.
Minor in Music with emphasis in Percussion.
