What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk with the student one on one to figure out what they are want from me as a teacher. I like to ask them their knowledge about food, what they enjoy eating and what they hope to learn. We then create a plan that works for them to achieve their goals. Throughout our sessions we can always check back to make sure we are on track.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently teach cooking classes at my local food coops, I am an instructor for St Paul Community Education and I am a wellness nutrition coach that takes private clients. It specifically teaches people how to cook organic healthy food on a budget. I also do interactive cooking classes for groups in home that focuses on themed cooking, meal prep and nutrition all in the comforts of their home.
