We provide high-quality dance classes to enhance the overall development of the child. Excellent technique and training. Our program builds strong ballet, modern, and contemporary jazz/ hip-hop artists. We focus on the individual needs of each dancer. Whether a child desires to dance for fun, or train for a career in dance, our program encourages dancers of all aspirations.

Small class sizes. Our classes “cap” at 12 dancers for ages 3-5 and 15 dancers grades 1-12. Some advanced classes may be larger due to leveling.

State-of-the-art facilities. Our 7000 square foot facility includes 4 beautiful dance spaces each equipped with mirrors, barres, viewing windows into every studio, state of the art sprung floors, and ample parking!

Progress reports. Parent/teacher conferences are held each spring. Students, parents, and instructors have the opportunity to discuss the dancer’s progress.

Qualified instructors. Many of our instructors currently dance with dance companies and/or have degrees in dance.

Focus on performance not competition. Our dancers have the opportunity to perform in the annual West-Metro community tradition, The Tales & Tails of Folks & Fairies, various faith-based dance productions, Elevate Youth Dance Festival, Cathedral Dance Festival and our spring Recital.

Faith-Based dance opportunities. CREO offers faith-based dance classes infusing Judeo/Christian themes and stories with Ballet and Contemporary dance techniques. Our also dancers have the opportunity to audition to be a part of our three faith-based youth companies, Footprints, Roots, andCREO DanceVERVE: Twin Cities that perform at area churches including Wayzata Community Church, Redeemer Lutheran, Wayzata Free Church, and Faith Presbyterian Church to name a few that we partner with. Bi-annuallyWe produce a full length faith-based production. Some of our performances include Wade In the Water, Esther: for Such a Time as This, and The Companion: The Story of Ruth & Naomi.

At CREO we typically meet with the student and parent to get a better understanding of past experience and goals for their future dance experience. We discuss wheather private instruction or class work will be best for the student. We allow students to test out a couple of classes before they commit. 

I have a BFA in Dance from the University of Minnesota.  Most of my staff also have degrees in dance and many dance professionally here in Minnesota.

I began teaching while I was in college. Though I danced professionally for awhile, my heart was with my students. I enjoy choreographing and watching young dancers acheive goals.  

I work with agest 3-18. I teach all generas of dance.
