Sarah Vlodek Vocal Studio
About
My service stands out, becuase I really cater to my individual students. I have bachelor's degrees in both Musical Theatre and Classical Voice, and I have expirience in many different styles of singing, so I can help students to achieve a healthy sound in their chosen genre. I like to make sure my students understand the mechanics of healthy singing, while still allowing their own unique sound to shine.
My favorite part of teaching voice, is watching the confidence grow in my students as I help them to achieve sounds they never thought they would be able to make.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my student, and why they want to take voice lessons. Then, I will start with a few easy vocal warm ups, so I can begin to determine my student's potential, and how I can help them reach that potential.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an active performer for more than 20 years. I have degrees in both musical theatre and vocal performance.

How did you get started teaching?
I began taking voice students when I was a senior in college. That was when I discovered my passion for teaching!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students age 5-adult.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would reccomend that you look for a teacher who is willing to cater to individual students. There is no one-size-fits-all mold for voice lessons that works for every students, so it is very important to have a teacher that is willing to figure out what works for you.
