At Pure Dance Studio we strive to give students the opportunity to develop their gifts to use for God’s purposes in their lives! Our studio has a flexible program that allows students to grow and progress at their own pace in a personal, welcoming environment. Daytime and evening classes are available for all ages. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am the co-owner/founder of Pure Dance Studio, LLC. I have over fourteen years of teaching and directing experiece, and I have been in the dance industry for almost twenty years. I love to teach students of all ages, from two years to senior adult, and I have taught/directed beyond my own studio for Ballet Conservatory of Independence, American Rhythm Performance Ensemble, Legacy Performing Arts Academy, and City of Independence-Palmer Center. I have also taught at numerous statewide and national clogging workshops.
My formal dance instruction began at the age of three at the Ballet Conservatory of Independence under the instruction of Mrs. Ulla Ames. I have studied the Royal Academy of Dance program and have passed the second level of vocational examination within this method of ballet. I have received many years of clogging instruction from Mrs. Twilla Mann and musical theatre and voice instruction from Mrs. Lianne Ames. This training provided wonderful performance and service opportunities, which began to shape my ideals and goals for a service and christian-oriented career. I have received instruction from numerous instructors, and my training has included ballet, jazz, modern, clogging, ballroom, and folk dance styles and vocal and theatre instruction.

I have worked with students of all ages, from three years to senior adults. I have experience teaching students of all backgrounds and learning styles.
