Our classes are unique in that Director Miles McMahon, (Mr Miles as the kids call him), writes all the plays with no auditions and no leads. Everyone gets a great part designed just for them.

As of now all of our classes are online. These are live, interactive and very fun.

I founded Theatre of the Imagination and have been it's Director for 20 years and I truly love working with kids. They are so full of imagination and energy, there is so much they can teach us adults about seeing the world.

Helping them improve self-esteem and build self confidence in the arts is our never ending goal.

We begin with improvisation games and acting exercises to spark creativity and expression.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a MFA in Theatre/Directing from UMKC and over 20 years experience teaching kids.

Generally our classes run $15 per lesson, which runs 60-90 minutes.

How did you get started teaching?

I am a professional actor of stage and screen who started teaching an after school drama club at a local school. That then developed into Theatre of the Imagination.
