About
We are the area's first Yoga and Dance Training studio. We utilize many technical and spiritual modalities of development to enhance our student's unique experience. We train our dancers and yogis through conscious, nonviolent communication, and encourage excellence, while allowing our students and practitioners to rise to their Highest Selves in their own timing. In doing so, we create confident yet humble artisans of our dance and yoga company, who collaborate to create amazing memories, fantastic dancing and Alchemical Flow, together!
I love feeling the aesthesis that is generated among student, teacher, music, and the movement of energy throughout space! I am thrilled when I sense how deeply my students are connecting with the movement and engaging with their most beautiful Soul-full expressions! I love teaching chakra energy work and how opening these magical energy centeres, dispelling any low flowing energy, and healing misaligned energy can change how we present our gifts to the world! It is a joy to yoke the experience and training I have had in my life to the widsom that yoga provides!

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching at 18, being trained by the world's leading dance training and competition company. I taught nationawide for high school and collegiate level dancers and athletes until 2000, when I began teaching internationally.
I have trained dancers in Paris, London, Rome, Berlin, Finland, Sweden, Australia, Ecuador, Colombia, Moscow to name a few. It is an INCREDIBLY humbling experience to teach in a country of which is not your native tongue! I learned at a young age to teach from my heart, and anyone will learn and understand.
What types of students have you worked with?
3 to 73 year old students. Anyone willing to grow is a perfect student for me :)
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I tuaght a master class in Guayaquil, Ecuador which was so deeply moving! After going through a difficult experience of my own, I poured it out onto the dance floor, and the dancers absorbed this love and let it flow throught their movement. It was such a gift!
As a yoga teacher, the most incredible class I've taught to date was a 5:30am class in which somehow i managed to have 25 students, and my music, movement, and energy was so symbiotic that I could literally feel the energy of the room! I finished the class singing a song for my beautiful yogis to let them know how deeply I loved them and how much their Souls affected mine. It was the best start to my day!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be open to experience GRACE for yourself and JOY for others!! It is a gift that is available to us All, and I am so willling to embrace each student right where they are and help them find this inner peace no matter how many tears or falls or frustrations need to be expelled to get there. I will meet you where you are and help you when you need it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is holding you back from moving to this new space?
How are you choosing to show up for yourself now?
How do you envision yourself in 3 months, 6 months 12 months??
What beliefs are you willing to release to know that you are going to get there??
