Dave Brandt is terrific. He chooses relevant songs my kids really enjoy learning & practicing, and he is super-encouraging of their strengths while challenging & stretching them in the areas they need to improve. He is incredibly knowledgeable. Each of my 4 kids' skills have improved greatly because of their lessons, and they all love Mr. Dave!

Dave is energetic and positive. He helps our child push to the next level!

K's confidence has strengthened since her first lesson with Dave. Dave has an incredible ability to make you feel at ease and has a positive take on critiquing. I would highly recommend Dave as a vocal and keyboard instructor.

Grace (vocal-singing) and Dylan (keyboard) have been getting lessons at RockShow for a few years now. Dave, Kelly, and their family/staff are wonderful! My kids have learned so much. Dave works with each of them to perform their very best. Grace has really blossomed under Dave's guidance. Couldn't ask for a better instructor.

Kelley and Dave have been teaching music and theater to kids for many years!  Of course we started as young performers ourselves and our love of that experience when we were kids is what led us to become teachers.

All kinds!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

A student should have some idea of what they want to achieve from the learning experience and then find a teacher who can work with them to achieve their goals.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What are you trying to learn/improve upon?
Are you prepared to put practice time in?
Are you aware that private lessons are different than typical school because the teacher is there to specifically help YOU?
