About
I love helping adults and children develop more confidence in doing what they love! I've worked with children mostly but I'd like to branch out to adults as well. I do a homeschool acting course for children 12 and up. And have done Drama Camps at St Charles Community College. I inspire these young minds to learn and also be confident in what they do. I have years of experience with choreography, music and performance. I am a professional vocalist and had a show in Branson Missouri. I know the secret to a confident performance. I'd love to show you the secret!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Setting personal goals and finding out what each student desires to accomplish and support what they desire and lead them accordingly
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended St Charles Community College for my education in Acting, Stage Production and Voice. I produced my own show in Branson Missouri
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $15 an hour in a group class per person. Or private lessons for $22 an hour. Family discounts apply as well
How did you get started teaching?
Teaching is a skill I have developed over the years as a Certified Life Coach. I have taught and supervised self-development classes since 1989. I brought my love of music together with my teaching and do musical firesides to teach and entertain groups. I have led childrens choirs and taught music to kids for over 15 years. I directed a kids singing and performing group in Branson where I choreographed for competitions. I've also homeschooled my kids for 22 years and part of their education was to teach them a skill I love. Music and Acting. I started getting homeschoolers together and doing Acting Workshops and then teaching at Drama Camps at the college I had attended. I love the work!
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly children under 18 but have done voice lessons for adults and confidence building.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love talent searches. I think there are so many out there who want a big break or to come out of their shell. So much talent being hidden under a bushel. My goal is to bring those people out of the darkness and into the light! Where their talents can shine!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for passion in what they Do! And a helpful attitude and putting their focus on the student.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask themselves what the level of their commitment is. Is it a hobby or a career decision. You have to know where your going and how your teacher can support that. Do you want to build confidence or act in a play some day? People take lessons for more than just one reason. Be clear. Be direct. Thats how you get what you want.
