Evan Ortiz Drum Lessons
About
I started my musical endeavors in high school. I marched 8 seasons on marching snare drum. 4 seasons of Marching band and 4 seasons of WGI indoor drum line. In that time I was a member of a BOA finalist band and open class finalist drumline (13th in the nation). After my time in high school I then started school at Webster University studying Music Ed. I then became a member of the Colts Youth Organization marching one season of Drum and Bugle Corps (Colt Cadets DCI). After my time with DCI I then auditioned and became a member of Freedom Percussion, an open class medalist group out of STL. I have been with Freedom now for 2 years. I was a drum tech at Mater Dei High school, Belleville East high school and Mascoutah High School.
