About

I teach at two different locations: St. Ann, MO and Belleville, IL. My lessons are customized to the student and we take all the time needed to get you comfortable with the steps and routines so that I can meet all of your dance needs. Whether it is performing, competing, a wedding dance, or even a dance to celebrate a birthday such as a Quinceañera. I also teach social dancing and I am available on the evenings and weekends to accompany you to your event. Also, I am willing to come to you for your lessons if needed.

The thing I enjoy most about being a dance instructor is working with all the different people and seeing them grow in their ability and confidence.

Jeff is very considerate of my learning style and very patient when I get frustrated with myself. He bases my choreography for competitions and shows off of my strengths and really works on making me as the student the star of every performance that we do.

    Frequently asked questions

Before the first lesson I take the time to communicate with my student(s) over phone or text to learn what it is that brings them to dance.  I also like to know their background and their goals.  This way when they come in for their first lesson, I already have some groundwork laid for the next hour.  Whether it is someone who is there for a wedding dance or they just want to become more comfortable with social dances I like to have a plan in order to make the most efficient use of our time.

I have been dancing for over 20 years and have trained with U Can Dance Studio where I am an independent teacher.  I have competed in multiple competitions with U Can Dance both as a student and as a professional.  Last year my students and I competed in three different competitions:  New Orleans, Kansas City, and Chicago.

I have standard prices based on location.  I also offer package discounts.  Please contact me directly for pricing.

I have worked with students who wanted to learn to dance social and line dances just for fun so they felt more comfortable at events.  I have also worked with students who wanted to perform and compete.  Additionally I have done choreography for weddings and birthdays, such as Quinceañeras and major birthday events, such as 50th birthday parties.  Finally, hip hop and Bollywood have also been known to appear in some of my routines (upon request).
