As the only studio in the area that is connected to a professional company, The Academy at Terpsicorps knows that dance training is best when it is taught by those with real world experience in the art form. With access to not only the finest teachers in the area, but a long list of acclaimed dancers and teachers from around the country, excited to come teach at our master classes and summer intensives, our students are given the best training available at a reasonable cost.
The Academy encompasses a dance education division of dancers ages 3 -18, a pre-professional division of dancers ages 8-18 and a variety of diverse classes for adults. Classes include classical ballet, pointe, partnering, men's class, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip hop, tap, creative movement, yoga, conditioning and Pilates/Gyrokinesis.
Our faculty enjoys the process of creating dancers, young and old, professional and recreational. Watching a students progress and accomplish things they never dreamed possible make our job more fulfilling than any other.
