We teach all forms of social and Ballroom dancing, including, but not limited to Salsa, Bachata, Wedding dances, Waltz, Merengue, Swing, West Coast Swing, and many many more! It is extremely rewarding to help people discover the joys of dancing. Often times, people don't believe they can learn to dance, so it is very fulfilling to be a part of proving to them that they can. Watching people become confident on the dance floor through the use of "The Arthur Murray System" is extremely satisfing as an instructor. Having people tell us this is "the most fun we have ever had" and "I can't believe you actually taught me how to dance, I have always had two left feet" makes what we do so rewarding.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer a very inexpensive, fun and easy no obligation sample private lesson at our beautiful, modern dance center conveniently located in the Preston area of Cary just behind Lugano Ristorante. We teach both singles and couples and your sample lesson includes your own personal instructor whom is certified through Arthur Murray International in all the latest styles and steps. They will be able to recommend a personalized program to get you exactly what you need in the shortest time possible. You will love it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Arthur Murray Instructors are certifed in all forms of social and Ballroom dancing. We specialize in helping people to prepare for weddings, cruises, going on a "date night" with your significant other, or just for fun and stress relief. All Arthur Murray Instructors at our Cary location work with students who want to learn for social reasons, as well as working with high level competitive dance students in both American and Latin style dancing
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer a sample personal lesson for only $40. After that, we offer both individual and group classes six days a week! We are a full time facility and work around your schedule. The cost of our beginner programs depends upon the recommendation of your instructor based on how you do on the lesson and what your goals are. The great thing about the sample lesson is you can try us out with no committment to see if what we offer is a good fit for you!
How did you get started teaching?
Anthony Coberg started teaching years ago at Arthur Murray Dance in NW Indiana. Matt Slade began with Arthur Murray's in California. Jacob Kollasch began with Arthur Murrray's in Indiana and has relocated to Cary, NC and loves it. Julie Coberg started in the 90's and is the co-franchisee of the studio and has worked with many top students and instructors.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with students looking for fun and relaxation, competitive students (our students have won numerous awards both regionally and nationally) and we have helped countless students prepare for all kinds of events like weddings or just going out to the clubs. Many students are also looking to meet people and make new friends, Arthur Murray's is the place for that! It also makes a GREAT date night out.
