Hi! My name is Blair and tennis is definitely a lifetime sport that I am passionate about as a player and as a coach. Growing up I competed in high school and at the collegiate level. Currently I work for a tennis company in Raleigh as a USPTA certified teaching professional. Prior to that I was a certified Physical Education teacher for 6 years. As you can tell physical activity is an important aspect of my life, and as a coach I value the importance of what tennis can do for all individuals.
During my teaching career I have 8+ years of experience in coaching tennis and basketball. Also with some experience in the up and coming sport of pickleball!
As a coach and teacher I am a very positive and energetic mentor that believes in reaching personal goals. I believe that all individuals have an equal opportunity to grow and learn through athletics, and making sure that is accomplished in a safe and inclusive environment. Through hard work and dedication each individual has the opportunity to improve as a player and person.

How did you get started teaching?
During college I graduated with a degree in Physical Education and ended up teaching PE for 6 years, as well as coaching high school tennis and basketball. After teaching I went directly into coaching tennis as a certified professional tennis coach. Currently I am working with a tennis program in Raleigh coaching tennis.
