Steve was very knowledgeable about music and teaching, and he was able to break down topics and ideas into easily digestible lessons and teaching moments. He noticed issues with my playing and helped me correct them both by showing me the correct way to do something and giving me exercises/a curriculum to work on. A shame that I am not able to continue doing lessons with him because of a change in our schedule, but I highly recommend him to future prospective students if he becomes available as a teacher again.

Geoff has been fantastic - my son wanted to learn to play the guitar after a quick introduction at school, and we met with a few teachers for him. Geoff was the best - he has been a great balance of teaching the basics, and helping my son focus on foundational techniques, while also giving him chances to choose the music he wants to play from a whole variety of genres. Geoff is clearly talented, and even teaching online, he is careful to review how my son is handling his guitar and watching his hands. He is patient with mistakes, and also knows when my son hasn't really practiced (and lets him know he knows!) :) It's been a pleasure working with him, and watching my son's skills develop. Geoff has even encouraged him to sing, which has been really fun to watch. Highly recommend!

Ben is a fantastic teacher who knows how to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. He is able to gauge skill precisely and know exactly where to go and how to grow from there. The improvement I saw in even the first few weeks were astonishing and I cannot wait to continue. Thank you Ben!

Our family has enjoyed working with Kaylene Peets. She's a great communicator and has an organized studio, with clear policies, etc. She is very knowledgeable about music pedagogy, but also willing to go slowly and tailor her teaching to my daughter's needs. Highly recommend!
