I have been teaching acting for craft, confidence, and professional advancement for over 20 years. I have taught in studios in NYC and Boston and have been on the faculty at five different universities. I have a master’s degree from Tisch School of the Arts and a PhD from University of Pittsburgh and am an award winning playwright and director. I am passionate about helping students of all ages achieve their personal and professional goals and ignite their creative instincts.
I am passionate about being an intimate partner in helping students reach artistic and creative goals and developing the whole person through the performing arts. I have worked with toddlers and CEOs in the Fortune 500–every student presents a new adventure in art and creativity.
Dr. Pierce is full of creative energy! She sees the best qualities in her students and helps them to exceed their own expectations. She is a true leader in this craft!!
Dr. Pierce was able to cultivate excellent acting skills in my son, helping improve his confidence in presenting in front of a group.
Care and concern working with individual’s strengths.
Dr. Pierce is always the consummate professional. Master of her craft! Highly recommend working with her.
I ask students to prepare a piece for our first meeting and run a diagnostic. We then set personal and professional goals for our sessions and establish a means of measuring our success.
