About this pro

We offer all types of theatrical education from acting to technical theatre to front-of-house training. We have over 40 years theatrical experience.

Our lead teacher holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and an extensive background in all aspects of the theatre.

I enjoy students learning and incorporating valuable social skills into their daily life.  When there is a visible growth in confidence, or they are actively seeking opportunities they wouldn't have before, I am most rewarded.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I meet with the student and find out what they hope to achieve through lessons. I also discuss any hobbies, hangouts, or anything else that is important to them. I find out the best way to connect the lessons with them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 40 years experience in the theatre. I have worked in every theatrical function. I am also a Theatre teacher for public education. I have a Bachelor of Art degree in Theatre Arts.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Typically lessons begin at $25 per hour.  Each class is designed to be an hour long.  Students are welcome to schedule as many classes as they like per week, according to availability.

Special class sessions may be booked as well.  Please contact us for more information.

How did you get started teaching?

I have been involved in theatre for over 40 years.  I became involved in teaching in 2010 at a local school in Indiana.  Since then, I have worked with ages K-12.  I have also continued to work with students above (and below) the K-12 level, including adults.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students of all age groups.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure the teacher understands exactly what you are hoping to achieve through lessons.  Don't hesitate to ask the instructor what qualifications they have.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What do I hope to learn by taking theatre lessons?

Is there a specific goal I have?

How will I use what I learn in my daily life?
