LC Cossor- Acting, Voice And Movement
About
I hold Dance and Theatre degrees from UNCSA and UNCC and am currently working towards a Masters Degree and further certifications in voice and movement work. Having been trained by some of the premiere teachers in acting, voice and movement teachers, it is an honor to continue their traditions in my own work. I have taught privately and in the school system for over 15 years to a myriad of students.
As a voice and movement specialist I can help actors expand their skills and character development. My work is based in techniques such as Alexander, Laban, Linklater and Fitz-Maurice.
Whether it is coaching students through a script, helping them learn a new accent, or learning how to better use their bodies!
The Aha! Moment is always the best. When students have a break through on a script, finally nailing an accent, feeling more vocal flexibility and strength, or more fluidity in movement.
Sharing the knowledge that was imparted on me with others is why I teach.
