I delight in helping young actors find passion in their work, helping them make the connection to find truth within the text and ignite their performance.
I can confidently say that Matt Ferrell is the best teacher I have ever had. His abundant knowledge and experience in musical theatre mixed with his desire to push his students to reach their highest potential makes him a fantastic person to learn from. If you want to take your skills to the next level, Matt is definitely the guy to take you there. I have seen so much growth in myself as an actress since I started working with Matt. As a senior musical theatre major, I feel confident auditioning and working professionally thanks to the wonderful training I have received from Matt.
Matt Ferrell is just so awesome!! Can’t say enough good things!!!! I trained with him in musical theatre and acting, he is very well versed in both!!! Musical theatre people, this guy will get you a job!!!!
Matt is the kind of acting coach you NEED if you are serious about this art form and really want to work in this business. He is personable and friendly, but not afraid to give constructive, honest feedback and will push you as far as you want to be pushed. He is an AMAZING professor, and I learned more from him than any other professor at my University. I would highly recommend Ferrell.
I have worked with all level of students, from TONY winners to beginners. I currently have over 50 past students working on Broadway or in the film/television industry.
