About

Hi, I'm Maxwell Highsmith. You can see my Career at www.IMDB.me/maxwellhighsmith. My classes and my technique stands out because I believe that "...everyone deserves to have their name in lights.." That means you. 😉See you soon. Thanks for your time and consideration.

I enjoy the work I do because stories matter. Humans are the only species that is granted the rights to tell stories-angels can't do it, elephants can't do and neither can trees or dolphins.

Stories connect all of us to each other. Let's get together and tell stories to each other. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Frequently asked questions

1st= I try to determine what they want to do; Film, TV, Stage, Commercials.

2nd=I determine who they like and dislike as far as Talent and why.

>I've studied at University of South Carolina-Theatre Program.

>I used to be a Visiting Artist with South Carolina Shakespeare Company.

>I have taken various workshops across the Southeast US.

No.  I have figure out if me and the student can journey together 1st.

Then, we discuss a reasonable fee in reference to mileage (if I travel) and number or lessons wanted.

I got started because one of my friends told that I should give back. They told me that I was at a point where giving back is critical to my success.

I have worked with:

*Stage Actors 15+.

*New to Film Actors 15+.

*Want-to-be Actors.

I am most fond of helping a new Playwright find their voice and continue to harness the power of their voice.

A playwright came to me and asked for help in Casting their 1st piece. After viewing/reading the piece and workshopping it, we were able to stage a reading that showed and told the Playwright some things that they didn't know. A most enjoyable experience.

My advice would be to check the teacher out, talk to the teacher and become personally satisfied with their style and material.

Questions:

1) Why did you start Acting?

2) Can you talk about a bad Acting Experience you had?

3) If you couldn't act, what would you do?
