Our business is people. People are the reason, heart, and soul of every service offered. Whether we are offering coaching services on public speaking so that someone may have more confidence standing before others, speaking to groups of youth|young adults in order to provide encouragement and support in building their futures, providing acting coaching to help someone discover their hidden talents, we keep people at the center of all we do. We aim to create on-going, meaningful connections with every client in order to provide a comfortable learning environment and an enjoyable experience.
It is my passion to inspire others, especially young adults, and youth, to discover their true gifts and talents so that they may genuinely live life to the fullest. That passion resonates with our team. The ability to speak to others and empower them to "let their light shine" is one of the most beautiful gifts of humanity. I enjoy seeing people achieve their personal goals and discover hidden treasures for themselves. It is an honor and privilege to witness that part of someone's journey. We also believe in preparing people for public speaking and entertainment careers by teaching the business acumen along with the training necessary for the arts.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are invited for a free 30-minute consultation and assessment at our studio space. During this time, we listen to the specifics of what the student is seeking to achieve and provide sides and acting exercises for an initial overview . We then comprise a specific plan based on the students short and long term goals with lessons crafted for the student's level. Further into our lessons, we provide professionally recorded acting reels, studio headshots and other additional services.

Originally founded in 2005 as Act Trinity Performing Arts Company, Act Trinity Creative Arts Services (ATCAS) is a non-profit arts organization providing programming and services in the performing, visual, fine, culinary and physical arts.

Our Introductory course outline for beginning adult acting students is based on Uta Hagen's "Respect for Acting" which introduces the novice actor to the psychological, physiological and objective techniques necessary for portraying authenticity in character work and productions (Stanislavsky, Method).
Our private acting lessons for adults are $50 for a 1-hour session or $45 for a 45 minute session. A free 30 minute consultation and assessment session is available for interested clients.
Our next 6-week group classes start on March 20, 2018 for $150.00 (6 classes @$25 per class).
How did you get started teaching?
My first teaching experience occured at 14 years old. I began acting classes for children ages 4 - 8 at a local Saturday community arts program. From there, I worked as a teaching artists, guest acting coach and director throughout the years. I also have public and private school teaching experience as well as my 12+ years as Founder and Artistic Director of Act Trinity.
What types of students have you worked with?
Our range of students includes ages 3 year old to adult; beginners to advanced and students with special needs (autism, ADHD, etc.).
We maintain individual lessons and/or small groups lessons in order to fully meet each student where he or she is and help him or her achieve new levels in their discipline.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Truly assess what your short and long-term goals are and why you believe taking a class will assist in achieving those goals. The art of acting is a very personal, engaging and rewarding journey. It is much deeper than "being famous" or "a star". The road to overnight success takes many years. Be honest about the "whys" and the "wants" of this endeavor. What amount of time, talent and treasure (finances) are you willing and or able to invest in your goal. Lay it out so that we as teachers can provide the best plan for you.
