I have many years of successful teaching experience with students of all ages and skill levels. I love listening to students at the end of a teaching period (a year) and hearing that they have improved since the beginning of the teaching period. They have worked hard and i have helped them improve!

I believe in bringing out the best of what a student can accomplish with the tools that they were created with. The voice is a gift and the student will realize their potential in the usage of it. I'm a good listener and have various techniques to share with my students.

Hello there! My name is Azzie Marino, and I would love to be your teacher. I am a recent graduate of Meredith College, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in music, concentration vocal performance. I taught at School of Rock Cary for two years and recently began teaching at Skylark Music School in Chapel Hill. I teach voice, piano, and music theory, as well as skills onstage, and I have experience in theatre as well. I can’t wait to share the wonderful language of music with you!
