Eddie Dunn has been coaching my indie team, Crimedog, since February 2011. Eddie is a fantastic instructor and I recommend him as both a coach and teacher.

More than any other coach I’ve had, Eddie is genuinely invested in our progress and goes to great lengths to see that we are improving week to week. Through a variety of exercises that test different muscles, he forces us to expand our performing ability and become well-rounded improvisers. After exercises, he forces us to think about the reasons why he assigned us the exercise and the benefits of practicing it. His feedback is firm but supportive and tangible.

Eddie not only gives us in-the-moment feedback, but also insight into the improv community through specific instructions on how to improve our team. After a couple of months, Eddie told us that we needed to be performing every week and gave us leads on indie shows who would be able to give us stage time. A few months later, Eddie gave us the challenge to secure a show at a bigger venue such as UCB, Pit or Magnet.

Eddie is an excellent improv instructor and would be an essential addition to any improv institution.
