Prestige Dance Institute is located in Garner, North Carolina at the intersection of 40/42 behind the Forty Two Forty Plaza on the lower level. It is a private dance studio run by owner and artistic director, Aleah Ham Darnell.
It is of the utmost importance for the students to obtain a proficient and high level of training, therefore our instructors have a degree in dance education along with professional experience. We strive to excel in our dance education by making the dancer aware of dance fundamentals, emphasizing vocabulary, and broadening dancers creativity. Prestige focuses on individual student growth by maintaining smaller classes, and motivating young dancers to reach their utmost potential while at the same time having fun.
Our studio is recital based with participation in competitions, conventions, and performances within the community. Prestige Dance will provide the community with a comfortable, positive atmosphere in which students learn the art of dance. We offer private dance instruction, group classes, performing and competitive companies, and rental facilities for events. Prestige Dance appeals to all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We believe in an age-appropriate approach to the type of music we play, the movement we teach, and the styles of costumes students wear.
Prestige dancers will develop leadership skills, learn teamwork, gain better time management, set and attain goals, and build self-esteem in a safe, nurturing and positive environment whether dancing recreationally, competitively, or seeking a professional career. Our goal is to unite all dancers in the surrounding area through class, performance, and convention opportunities to give a greater appreciation of dance.
