What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to fully understand what the client want; there goal. Then we discuss how I can help them. Lastly we discuss payment, scheduling, start time!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been dancing for 24 years and have been teaching for the past 9 years.
I was a competitive cheerleader and dancer for pretty much all my childhood and then I started dancing in music videos here and there.
I’ve also danced with people like Dexter Carr, Misha Gabriel, and FaceOff.

How did you get started teaching?
I was a competitive dancer and cheerleader and then I focused more on dance because thats my passion and I became a junior coach at 14 years of age and then make it to head dance instructor at just 18 years old and have been instructing ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've work with as young as 5 years of age and young as 65 years of age.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Being able to teach at a dance studio with all my HipHop kids! Seeing there faces and watching them grow and learn is all the fondness I need.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are looking to hire someone with my skill and expertise I advise the client/student to allow me to help you. Everything you’ve heard and/or may have learn may not be as useful as most people believe when they hire a dance instructor. Come into in with an open mind and readiness to learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What’s the goal? (Exercise, Event, or Just because)
What’s my level? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
If I found something online that I want to learn, will I realistically be able to do it at my level of skill and am I ready to hear the truth from the instructor?
