I enjoy teaching my native language Spanish. I worked for the NYC Board of Education as a Spanish teacher, now I am retired. I posses a New York state Spanish certificate in Spanish and a Master degree in education from Mount Saint Vincent college. I have flexible hours during the day so I can meet the demand of my students.
My knowledge and experience allows me teaching all levels of Spanish in the most efficiency and enjoyable way.
My passion is to educate and spread knowledge of this beautiful romance language. Presently, the world and business market requieres knowledge of a second language.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The best way is to analyze the need of my student, finding out the level of proficiency he or she wants to learn. Some would like to learn an specialized level such as doctors, nurses, lawyers so they can conduct their business with their clientele more efficiently. Others would like to learn from the foundation of the language, learning basic pronunciation, grammar, spelling with the idea to adapt Spanish as a second language in the future. Some require accent correction adapting phonetics. It is essential to all level of students to learn the correct pronunciation from the begining stage.
