Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$105 for a one person/instructor who is not a member of the Club: Richmond County Country Club.
How did you get started teaching?
As a top player in my area, my coach invited me to teach for him and I really loved teaching. Since that time, I became much more involved in the process of teaching and learning everything I can about the industry.
What types of students have you worked with?
Very young beginners, adult and teenage beginners as well as elete collegiate players and nationally ranked juniors. I have hit with and advised touring players and helped players know where to stand when serving (a very introductory topic)>
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Roger Federer winning his 20th Grand Slam in Melbourne, Australia at the AO.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Take lessons for different coaches until you find the right fit. The fit might also not be who you like the most...but who is the best coach for you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask coaches about their teaching styles and how they spend time during a lesson. Qualitiy coaches will know what questions to ask their students during the lesson and teaching methodology will become very clear early in the lesson.
