Over 20 years of experience. I was born and raised in the Caribbean and began playing the piano at the tender age of 4. I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and participated in Young Musicians on Stage at age 9. I became more passionate about music as I grew older so I took some music courses whilst attending Rutgers University and also sang in the University choir. I will teach you the same methods of reading music and playing the piano that I've learned as

Karen H. says, "In August, 2012, under Patrick’s guidance, I returned to piano study after a hiatus of 10 years. With infinite patience and great sense of humor, Patrick helped me rebuild my technique, expand my repertoire and regain my confidence as a pianist. As an educator myself, I can attest to the fact that Patrick has an excellent understanding of adult learners and their particular needs. I recommend him highly!" Read more

Andrew L. says, "Will taught my two boys (9 & 7) with a perfect combination of patience and proper technique. They were both complete beginners a few months ago, and now they read music, play with both hands and put on little shows for the whole family. They love their lessons with “Mr. Will” and I think they’ll be playing piano for years to come. Can’t recommend him enough!" Read more

Hi, I’m Lukas Schraud — a working jazz bassist, pianist, and educator based in New York City. I’ve been performing and teaching for over a decade, starting with piano on the streets of New Mexico as a child and later earning recognition from the Taos Bebop Society for my early jazz work. I’m currently completing my BFA in Jazz Performance at the City College of New York, having also studied at The New School with some of NYC’s leading jazz educators. My background spans piano, electric bass, and upright bass, with a focus on jazz, improvisation, and music theory — but I also teach pop, rock, and beginner classical. What I Offer: Piano, bas

I began playing piano at the age of six and have won numerous competitions in South Korea. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a piano concentration from Nyack College, and I also completed a post‑baccalaureate program in Music Education. Currently, I work as a general music and orchestra director in a public school, teaching students ranging from Pre‑K to high school, as well as adult learners. Each year, my students have the opportunity to perform in a recital for their families and friends. I do not limit my teaching to classical music — I am happy to help students learn popular songs they love. For those looking for a challeng...

As a theory teacher, Patrick Kreeger possesses the exact teaching style the subject requires. Patience, availability for questions and dedication to my desire to learn best define my experience with Patrick. It was such dedication that also made him call me out when he didn’t think I was doing my best or was making careless mistakes. Perhaps this wouldn’t be that outstanding except that Patrick did all of this long distance; he was in Philadelphia and I was in Delaware. He was timely in mailing me assignments and tests, and even more so in grading and returning them. I learned more from him in the 2 years I studied with him than I did in my last year of theory in my undergrad at music school. If you have the opportunity to study with Patrick Kreeger, consider yourself lucky. You couldn’t find better quality teaching elsewhere.”

Will has all the attributes of a great teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient and passionate about music. I look forward to the lessons. I always feel like I’m getting better. I take guitar lessons, but Will plays about 6 instruments in total and I think his musical acumen brings and added intangible to the lessons.

I came to Keith for help with my tendency to tighten up so much I could produce a note. He focuses on proper physical management of one's vocal instrument (body) to produce beautiful sound without strain. I now enjoy singing again and have improved my range as well as surprised myself with the quality of sound I can now produce. Keith is very supporting, full of praise, and a pleasure to work with.

As a newcomer to the piano, I have been taking lessons with Ms. Menconi for awhile now. Ms. Menconi has a love for music that shows itself in her teaching. She teaches at a level appropriate for the student, while having a deep knowledge of music theory on which to draw for inquiring minds. Whether working with a child or an adult, Ms. Menconi helps students make the progress they desire. I highly recommend Ms. Menconi for piano lessons in Northern New Jersey.

I have been getting guitar lessons with Bryan for over two years. As a forty something year old, who can be very stuck in his ways, Bryan has been abundantly patient with my slow learning process. He is thoroughly knowledgable of the guitar, adapts to my learning curve, finds real life examples that helps move me along in the right direction. So very thankful I decided to go with Bryan as my teacher. He does the music world good simply being the kind of teacher he is.
