I love anything food. I think food is medicinal and it should be utilized that way. It can cure all ailments while making you feel great in the process. Teaching to me is a means of spreading awareness. Hopefully my students will take what they learn, apply it and teach it as well.
The space was beautiful, spacious, and light filled. The approach is holistic and easily applicable to your everyday life. The instruction is thorough, easy to understand, and encourages you to think like a cook, not just how to follow a recipe. And the instructor makes you feel at ease, at home, and comfortable in the kitchen. It’s a boutique cooking class experience!
What a great experience! Bega showed us how to make several healthy, inexpensive, easy-to-make meals that will absolutely make appearances time and time again in my and my fiancées busy schedules, but that’s not all. She took time to teach us about the process and art of cooking. I’ve been active in the kitchen since I was a fairly young boy and still I left Bega’s with lessons and pieces of knowledge that will truly stay with me for the rest of my life. Oh, and I had a great time, too!!! The 80s soundtrack and company of the other students that night couldn’t be beat!
Bega was great with us! She was patient, detailed with her directions, and made it a fun learning experience! I am looking forward to taking additional lessons as a working mom I am always trying to learn quick and healthy meals to make for the family. I will definitely recommend her.
Excellent! Bega's cooking class was a lot of fun and hands on. Simple, quick and healthy were some of the things we wanted due to our work schedules. Bega showed us a couple recipes we could do after work in 30 min. Highly recommend Bega's Easy Middle Eastern!
Help them to feel more comfortable about choosing their ingredients and cooking them. Establish a connection to the food they eat. Teach them to be more confident with the food they cook.
I have over 15 years experience in restaurant operations. I’ve consulted for restaurants in Jersey city and NY city. Managed several restaurants and have been cooking since I was 15. I’ve also travelled exstensively giving me the opportunity to sample and educate myself to all the different food out there.
1 lesson typically lasts about 2 hours. I charge per lesson
