Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First and foremost, discussing safety rules. Then, going over the techniques we'll be employing, gathering materials, rolling up our sleeves, and getting down to cooking! This is an experiential, hands-on class where I act as a facilitator. The student cooks.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from age 3 through 15, including special needs students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my favorite recent events was a Taco-licious cooking party for eight 10-year-old special needs students. We chopped, diced, and cooked up beef taco filling with all the toppings, yellow rice and beans, and ended with a "Make your own sundae" dessert.
