I have been playing, performing, and teaching Drum Set, Snare Drum, Djembe, Conga, Dumbek, and Bodhran for over 40 years.
Over the years, I have performed from upstate New York down to Virginia. I have taught private lessons as well as group workshops for numerous organizations, schools, colleges/ universities, and conferences, in addition to my own studio. Recently, I have added online classes as well.
My approach makes learning easy; breaking concepts down into simple ideas that are quickly understood. Then, by blending those ideas with technique exercises, students are able to play with confidence in a short amount of time. They sound great and have fun making music.

I received written pages of all the rhythms we are learning. He gave us all an application for a metronome and a zoom instructional class. He starts on time and is always organized ! Dave is an extremely patient teacher and Ive learned 12 different African Rhythms over this year!
