professional trumpet player & maker  developed over the past 26 years my own playing and practicing technique my teaching methodology how to play brass instruments the most efficient way works for every level and age group  The lip is the sound source that creates a standing airwave within the instrument, and the trumpet functions as a filter and amplifier.  I also developed a unique tongue technique that requires less movement when phrasing notes ( single, double, and triple tongue). Therefore it is faster, requires less effort, is very versatile, usable in any style of music, and is much more accurate in hitting the notes ... View Profile

Many people’s interest in music goes beyond just listening to it. A lot of people who enjoy listening to it are also interested in learning how to play an instrument. A music lessons business gives novice musicians a way to learn to play an instrument, and it provides more seasoned musicians with advanced training to help them improve their musical abilities. A business may offer private or group lessons in home or classroom settings. 1. In-person music lessons  2. Online lessons 3. Group lessons 4. Practice tapes ... View Profile

I have been teaching for over 10 years. I teach privately full-time and run my own company. I personally hire other enthusiastic and experienced music teachers to work with me. I believe learning music should be fun. While it also takes hard work and dedication, a student must first enjoy music in order to continue and progress. My teachers and I incorporate well-known songs into lessons so that students can relate to what they are learning. We also use many of our own games and worksheets to keep students engaged at all times. We offer many different types of lessons including voice, piano, guitar, and songwriting.  ... View Profile

As a musician I am trained in guitar, saxophone, and piano, with extensive background in music theory, composition, and arranging. My focus as a musician is on improvisation, a valuable and essential skill no matter what kind of music you play, and because of that I'm interested in helping my students play creatively from the very beginning. I've taught everyone from absolute beginning pianists, to guitarists looking to understand music theory, to advancing blues and jazz guitarists.  https://www.dylandelgiudicemusic.com/lessons ... My teaching approach: My teaching approach really depends on the student. I don't know what they need until we meet. But some things are across the board. I feel that technical skills are necessary tools for getting you where you want to go, so I put focus on making sure those are headed in the right direction. I teach through musical example.  I feel that all lessons learned are learned better if they are put into a musical context.  Exercises are great and necessary, but it's possible to put those into a song or composition.  That way you are always playing music:) I teach drumset, tabla, frame drums, general percussion, guit ... I've learned music in two ways-first, from the street, and then from a university. I've discovered the pluses and minuses of both, taken the best from each experience and combined them in order to get the best results for the student. Music is the soul food of the civilization - a person gets something from music that they cannot get from anything else. Music and all art, is the highest form of communication on this planet; it is above logic, above mathematics, science, and above reason. It is a matter of statistical record that students who study music and play a musical instrument scholastically do better than their non-musical peers. Th ... View Profile

Having toured with the rock band Degradée (Warner Bros), plus years of experience in the music industry, performing and producing bands, I have gained a vision of various aspects of music as an art form and how to broaden a student's vision of what is possible. Bill Mooney Guitar Lessons

Bill Mooney Guitar Lessons

My name is Bill Mooney I've been playing and learning music since I was 8 years old. I started with piano. By the time I was 10, I decided I wanted to play guitar so without giving my age away, I've been playing and studying for some 50 years. At a early age I discovered that just learning a lick or a chord here and there was cool but didn't give me the roots of writing a song or understanding what my favorite band was playing. I was lucky to meet a great teacher Don Mock when I lived in Seattle. He taught me the language of music, the scales, the chords, and how they fit together. With this knowledge it open the gates to understanding music. ... View Profile
